PATHWAY TO CLOUD PROGRAM

This 3-segment programme aims to support female talents who are keen to explore a career in CLOUD COMPUTING. No prior experience is needed.

The 3-segment programme includes:

SEGMENT ONE - TRAINING

Online Training with Cloudseeders

• Introduction to Cloud Computing (23 Sept 2021. 6pm - 730pm) - Join to learn the very basics of cloud computing. We will go through a series of white-boarding exercises to learn about the benefits of cloud such as high availability, scalability, elasticity, and security.

TRAINER: Arthi Jaganathan (Solutions Architect, AWS)

 

SEGMENT TWO - MENTORSHIP

One-on-one mentorship by AWS/ Amazon Women Leaders

• Over a 3 months period (commencing from October 2021), you will have one-on-one guidance with an Amazon/ AWS mentor to discuss your career path

 

SEGMENT THREE - NETWORK WITH AMAZON BUSINESS LEADERS

Networking Event & Job Search Support (Jan 2022)

• In November, there will be an opportunity to attend an in-person / hybrid event to build your network and discover new career opportunities in Amazon/ AWS

• Seek out job search support advice from AWS/ Amazon HR team

Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

• You must be keen on a career in cloud computing

• You have a bachelor's degree

• Relevant work experience is not needed

• Must be willing to commit to the training, mentorship support for the period of time stipulated.
