About the speakers:

Bell Beh (Co-founder/ CEO, Buzz AR)

Bell is the co-founder & CEO at BuzzAR (one of Singapore's top AR companies, part of the Singapore Tourism Accelerator 2020/2021 ). She quit a six-figure legal career at Marina Bay Sands and started everything from scratch. Fast forward, years later, she is running her own multi million dollar business. Together with her team, her vision is to empower the world to create. In creation, we find our happiness, courage, and independence. With more than 10 years of legal and business advisory experience, Bell's team recently launched a new mobile app,”HappyToon'', with computer vision/AR and AI technology, to inspire, delight and connect users physically apart. It reached No.8 on the Appstore Singapore top chart (photo & video category) in 48 hours after launching version 1.1

Casie Millhouse (President, VRARA Singapore)

Casie is the co-founder of Element XR, an AR hardware company combining patented Israeli nanotechnology metamaterials and the commercialisation expertise of Singapore. She is the Singapore Chapter president of the VRAR Association and Chairwoman of the 5G Networks Committee. Now recognised as a key evangelist in immersive technology, she speaks at events welcoming Singaporean partnership consortiums for 5G Grant funding, opening doors for cross-border business development and commercialisation. She has spent the majority of her career in consumer facing products gaining experiences launching market validation tests for consumer apps in Asian markets, developing product marketing strategies and now pioneering in Augmented Reality. Previously, she had been the Singapore Director of SheWorx, a premiere female entrepreneur event series providing women with access to top mentors, capital funding and actionable business strategies to build and scale successful companies. 

 

Emmy-Lou Quirke (Collaboration Designer, PwC South-east Asia Consulting)

Emmy-Lou  is a Mental Health Nurse with over 15 year’s clinical experience in Australia. For the past 6 years she has been working at PwC as an Innovation Manager, where she uses her understanding of people to bring new ways of working to organisations that improve wellbeing. She has also led a number of projects improving patient and clinician experience through service design. In 2018, she delivered an innovative model of care at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, providing a Safe Haven Cafe as an alternative to the Emergency Department for people experiencing loneliness and needing support.

Emmy-Lou has skills in design thinking, agile coaching, product management, event design, and training. She’s an Usui Reiki practitioner, mindfulness coach, lover of everything astrological and does yoga when she remembers to. Her deep expertise in the realities of how different psychological conditions affect people’s lives underpins her approach to everything. She believes that life is a journey of discovering your Self.

Kay Vasey (Chief Connecting Officer, MeshMinds)

Kay Poh Gek Vasey leads on all partnerships focused on bringing together art and technology for good to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Since its founding in September 2017, she has led MeshMinds to become the first creative technology studio in Asia to have an official partnership with the UN Environment Programme; a member of the Apple Consultants Network; a preferred partner of Facebook; and an Official Lens Creator for Snapchat. She is proud that the content creation, distribution and consultancy services of MeshMinds help to fund the artist incubation and research activities of The MeshMinds Foundation, a registered not-for-profit arts organisation that is focused on enabling Asian artists to tackle global challenges from a local perspective.
