Sher-li Torrey

Sher-li Torrey is the founder and director of Mums@Work Singapore, a social enterprise she launched in 2010 to support women seeking flexible careers or entrepreneurship. Since then, she has helped over 68,000 women through job placements, Mumpreneur support, and returnship programs with 150+ multinational firms via its subsidiary, Career Navigators.

In 2024, she expanded regionally with Mums@Work Asia, launching Return-to-Work Japan with partners such as Shiseido, Visa, and Microsoft. Together with her colleagues, she designed the "JumpStart Reintegration Support programme, which has been used by returners in different back-to-work hiring campaigns.

​

A frequent speaker and media commentator on diversity and the future of work, Sher-li also serves on several national advisory boards in Singapore. A mother of two, she champions work-family integration as the foundation of inclusive workplaces.

Sam Lai

Sam is a C-Suite Executive Coach with extensive experience in coaching individuals and organizations through significant and complex change. Over the years, she has successfully navigated multiple career changes across different sectors and have coached leaders in global organizations to reach their highest potential. Her approach is rooted in building resilience, fostering meaningful connections, and providing unique insights to drive personal and professional growth.

Sam is also an avid Women Empowerment Advocate. Her active participation and partnership with Mums@Work as a program manager, coaching women clients in their career and life transitions, facilitating women only retreats, is a demonstration of her strong calling in helping women succeed in all areas of their lives. Married with 4 children ages 18-26, Sam understands exactly how it is like to be pulled in many different directions, in building a life she desires.

Shu Jing Kong

A mum to two teenage boys, she is embarking on the second chapter of her career journey after being a stay at home mum for 10 years. In her free time, she finds joy in peaceful gardening, and gets energised and inspired from freediving.
